Ashton, Dore

Uno de los críticos de arte contemporáneo de mayor influencia en el mundo. Es profesora de historia de arte en la Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art de Nueva York y lectora en la Columbia University, la City University of New York y el Pratt Institute. Ha sido editora asociada del Art Digest y de 1955 a 1960 trabajó como crítica de arte del New York Times. Entre su larga trayectoria destacan libros teóricos y biografías de artistas, como The unknown shore.
